WWE RAW Preview 9/21/20

Tonight’s RAW is the go home show before WWE Clash of Champions: Gold Rush. Below is the lineup for the show.

Keith Lee vs Drew McIntyre:

Keith Lee was called up to the main roster after NXT TakeOver XXX. Lee has been in some high profile matches on the main roster in a month including against Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre. McIntyre has been getting involved in Lee’s business and Lee has had enough of it. Last week, Lee and McIntyre let their tempers flare and brawled all over backstage before they were scheduled to face off in the main event. Retribution got involved in the match and the show ended with a brawl. Lee and McIntyre will battle once again and this time with big stakes. If Lee wins, then he will face McIntyre on Sunday for the WWE Championship but only if Randy Orton cannot compete.

Humberto Carrillo and Dominik Mysterio vs Seth Rollins and Murphy vs Andrade and Angel Garza:

This is a random triple threat tag team match put together for the opportunity to face the Street Profits at Clash of Champions. Dominik Mysterio has been in a feud with Rollins and Murphy so he needed a tag team partner and since Rey Mysterio is injured, it makes sense to team him up with someone who also has had problems with them. Andrade and Angel Garza have been given multiple opportunities to take the RAW Tag Team Championships but have not capitalized. Not even once. There’s turmoil between the two of them as well so it’ll be interesting to see how this match ends and who will take on the Street Profits this Sunday.

Dabba-Kato vs Braun Strowman inside of RAW Underground:

Last week, Braun Strowman invaded RAW Underground and caused chaos and destroyed multiple bodies. Dabba-Kato stepped up to Braun but Shane McMahon didn’t let the fight happen at that moment. McMahon wanted to save a fight as big as this for the next edition of RAW Underground tonight. This should be a big battle as Strowman is 6 feet 8 inches tall and Dabba-Kato is 6 feet 9 inches tall. Expect chaos and destruction between these two tonight.

Randy Orton Health Update:

Two weeks ago, Randy Orton was taken out with three claymore kicks by Drew McIntyre. This was done in response to the punt kicks that McIntyre previously received from Orton. Tonight, we get an update on his condition and if he will be able to compete on Sunday for the WWE Championship in an Ambulance Match.

Hurt Business, Retribution, and more are scheduled to appear as well.
