Winfield Jr has a tall task ahead of him against Chiefs

Antoine Winfield Jr has definitely made his presence known during his rookie campaign. The second-generation safety has been nothing short of impressive in his rookie campaign, ranking third on the team with 61 tackles, and tied for fifth with 2 sacks. His case has definitely been made for Defensive Rookie of the Year.

The Bucs Week 12 matchup against the defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs could be the biggest game of Winfield's rookie campaign, as he will be tasked with helping contain their high-powered offense lead by former MVP and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. Sounds almost like a normal practice for him right? Well almost because the Chiefs have weapons that could straight up destroy opposing teams.

With speed-demon receivers, Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, and Mecole Hardman, the secondary are going to have their hands full. Ice with cake with passes to tightend Travis Kelce with sprinkles of rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and this could easily be a recipe for disaster. In order to do that though, the defense is going to need to remain on their toes and don't give up the big play while also trying to contain the young phenom quarterback on the opposite side.

As some "fans" may not give the Bucs a chance to win, there is always a chance especially given that the Bucs offense carries just as much talent as the Chiefs, it'll be up to Winfield and the defense to keep the Bucs in the game.
